We are truly sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delay in preparing the apartment for your arrival. We understand that unforeseen circumstances and the varying conditions left by previous guests can cause delays, but we should have done better in managing the situation.
However, we would like to add some information about your stay, such as your refusal to identify yourselves for check-in purposes. We would like to clarify that asking for identification during the check-in process is a legal requirement in Spain, and it is necessary to register all guests on a police database. We regret if this caused any discomfort during your stay.
Regarding the broken door, we acted promptly later that day when you communicated us about the issue by sending our maintenance team to fix it, along with a representative to properly check you in. Unfortunately, once at the apartment, we were unable to reach you by phone or at the door and had to request assistance from the agency to contact you, who were not able to reach you either until 24 hours later, when you stated that you had abandoned the accommodation.
Nonetheless, and despite the issues, we are glad that you enjoyed the location of the property and were able to use the swimming pool during your stay even though the climate was still cold at that time of the year.
At Genteel Home, we always strive to provide our guests with top-quality stays, and we are sorry that we did not meet our usual standards in your case. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future, ensuring that your stay is perfect in every aspect.

Nada más entrar a las 14h del día 30 de diciembre, descargamos nuestras cosas y nos fuimos a comer, al volver se nos había llenado la comida de hormigas que fue el menor de nuestros problemas, porque la bandeja del horno (que también estaba sucia) no encaja y se nos cayo el asado del día de Nochevieja, ya nos estropeasteis la noche!!
El armario donde se guardan todos los vasos de la casa estaba caído, cuando lo abrí me fije que solo estaba anclado con un tornillo, con el peligro que ello conlleva.
El menaje de cocina es una porquería, ni una tortilla francesa hemos podido hacer porque se pegan todas las sartenes.
El aparato de aire de la planta de abajo tiene un escrito que no se debe dejar encendido porque puede calentarse pero no es suficiente para calentar la planta; a 16 grados estuvimos desayunando el primer día, con niños!!! Menos mal que nos trajeron un aparato adicional el día 31.
El cuarto de baño de la planta principal es imposible entrar por el olor que tiene a humedad y alcantarilla, cuanto menos ducharse, al tercer día no se podía tirar de la cadena y descubrí que estaba oxidado hasta el punto que se partió. La habitación de la planta principal al estar al lado del baño también huele, ademas es un olor bastante intenso y penetrante.
De los baños de arriba, el de la izquierda cuando abres el grifo del lavabo se filtra el agua y cae al suelo. El baño de la derecha el inodoro no está bien anclado al suelo por tanto el baño huele.
Entiendo que la casa es antigua pero no se ha reformado nada para alquilarla al coste que tiene, y aunque nos han hecho un abono del 20% ha sido una experiencia bastante desagradable.
Como parte positiva los colchones están perfectos.
No tengo ningún problema en ampliar la información por teléfono o vía mail.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is fantastic, in an old neighborhood, within walking distance of a number of restaurants and cafes. It is also very close to a popular viewing point for the Alhambra. We even walked to the Alhambra (although that involved a good bit of downhill and uphill hiking). However, I would not recommend trying to drive a car to this place. Even the taxi drivers were at first hesitant to take us there, although they did get us to the house.
