We are so glad we chose this beautiful apartment in the Albayzin neighborhood. Central location but still far enough away from the hustle bustle that we were able to enjoy the quiet hills of Granada. About a 15 minute enjoyable walk through the beautiful cobblestone neighborhoods to the center of town. The only thing is that street parking is a challenge so you likely have to spend about 12 euro a day on a nearby parking area. We did have to wait a bit for our host to arrive to accompany us to the apartment but it wasn’t bad because the view was beautiful and the weather was perfect. I would happily recommend to anyone who enjoys good views and strolls.

Beautiful apartment in a stunning location, situated on the Mirador de San Cristóbal with breathtaking views. My only complaint is that the host ignored my inquiry regarding the availability of laundry detergent in the apartment. It doesn´t make sense to advertise a washing machine for guests to use without providing any detergent. Aside from that, everything else was perfect, and the apartment is definitely worth staying in, especially for the breathtaking views from the living room balcony.

This was the perfect place to stay with the most amazing views of the Alhambra and sunset. Don’t hesitate, book this for your trip!

Booking and key pickup were painless. We enjoyed the location at Mirador Plaza san Cristobal. It has good (yes, hilly) access to the city, it is in the interesting Albaicin neighbourhood, and it has wonderful views. We quickly tired of the endless procession of tour buses and selfie shooters. Our ratings reflect the fact that we were ignored, even after we identified several of the numerous minor defects in the unit, including the incomplete stocking of consumables. We had ZERO response from the Genteel rep. We weren´t even contacted after our stay to request our feedback. So here it is: be aware that the unit is as shown in the pictures, but it is in a cluttered and dated building, and is rather poorly managed.

This is a beautiful apartment in a location that is not only beautiful but rich in history! I loved every bit of my stay here and it has everything I needed. For my fellow Americans moving around in Europe, this is definitely not a typical “Euro” sized apartment and is a nice break from the tiny Euro living. I felt right at home :) A few notes: * The wifi isn’t horrible but it isn’t great. It’s perfect enough for basic browsing/Uber/social media. I personally didn’t have issues and in general my cell signal was pretty decent. * Spend your first day familiarizing yourself with the roads. My phone helped me navigate pretty well but once you get further in the labyrinth of Albaicin/Sacramonte, your phone may not help you. * If you have bad knees/joint issues or any major physical impairment this may be a tough one and can present some challenges. Please be aware this is up in the hills and the roads are all old cobbled roads + there are stairs to get into the unit

The place is exactly as it is in the pictures - very beautiful with amazing views. Everything is in perfect condition and comfortable. We visited for two days with a baby, a baby cot was provided by the host. It is located right in front of the ´mirador de san Cristóbal´ and on the second night there were two musicians playing under our window from 10pm to after midnight, which was very nice but a bit noisy for the baby to sleep. The only thing to keep in mind is the very slow internet connection.

This place far exceeded my expectations. The views of Granada and Al-Hambra were stunning. I had everything I needed in the unit and was very happy with my stay. The hosts helped me with anything I needed and checked up on me multiple times throughout my stay. I will definitely be back!

Fabulous place and the location couldn’t be better.

This place is in a breathtaking location. Situated just above Mirador San de Cristobal, the best viewpoint in Granada. It overlooks all of Granada, the Alhambra, the old city walls and across to Centro with the cathedral and surrounds. The view from all three balconies is absolutely stunning. Also it´s situated in the charming Albaicin, which has many restaurants within a very short walk(Casa Torcuato has great food and a fantastic friendly atmosphere, recommend!!). The apartment is immaculately renovated with all appliances including dishwasher and washing machine, and is very spacious and stylish. I feel that this property is fantastic value for money, and would gladly return again and again for this slice of magic. The hosts were very fast to reply and very helpful.

Everything exactly as described. The place was very clean and accessible. The hills are tough but the whole region is hilly. Overall a wonderful stay! I would stay again.

The apartment is lovely - spacious, comfortable, stylish and the view is absolutely spectacular! Check-in was through a third party management company, who were really responsive, friendly and easy to communicate with, they were very flexible with timing etc. You´re a short walk from the heart of the Albaicin neighborhood, with some cute local bars and cafes. The only drawbacks (for us) were it is pretty far uphill from the city center, but the C34 bus will take you right down there in about 10 minutes. If you are the hearty sort, you can hike it up and down the cobblestone streets! Also the wifi did not work so well, it went in and out a lot, so if you have work to do you might ask about that before booking. Otherwise - we had a great stay. Loved all the decor and amenities - really nicely done. Highly recommend if you want a gorgeous view and spacious, comfy landing pad for your stay in Granda.

Wow! What a view, you can not beat the view of the Alhambra! You are a hike up a hill from downtown, but we found the neighborhood (Albaicin) to be extremely charming. The narrow streets, cute restaurants, bars, flamenco, and grocery stores. The unit itself was very modern. Only negatives was the AC unit stayed on for only an hour at a time due to it being in restricted mode, so often woke up very warm. You are right near a bus stop which made travel very convenient. Would stay again!

This little gem of an apartment was one of the highlights of our trip! It was clean, beautifully designed, well-equipped, and the bed was extremely comfortable! But it was the view ovetlooking the Alhambra and city that took our breaths away the minute we stepped through the door!

The apartment is spacious, very comfortable, decorated in a cosy way, and the views from the balconies are simply stunning. It´s great to open the windows and see the entire city in front of you. The only regret is that we had to leave :D

We had to take taxi everywhere we went as it’s kind of far from city center but for me, the view was more important than anything. And the view here is wonderful! They have coffee machine but not coffee, tea kettle but not tea. The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans but there’s no basic cooking condiments/spices so if you want to do a bit of cooking, you will have to buy pretty much everything. In the States, most rentals with kitchens have basic things like coffee, tea, powder creamer, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar, etc as people choose rentals over hotels for that homey feeling with options to eat in if they choose to do so. But maybe rentals in Europe are different.

Amazing view from the apartment. Everything is in great condition, we felt it was a great place to spend a few days in Granada, especially because of the views and the location in the Albaicin which is beautiful. The only con is that the apartment is located right next to a major lookout on the Alhambra so it is crowded with tourists all day long.

Granada is a beautiful destination but what made it even more special is the minute you walk into the apartment, you are drawn to the windows with the amazing views of the city and the Alhambra. The apartment was beautifully fitted out, plenty of space to move around(found a spot to do yoga facing the amazing view) lots of amazing food options and the best part was the proximity to the Albycin area of Granada which is so very special and about a 10 min walk. The climb up from the city was a little brutal at first but you figure out an easier route soon enough and believe me once you are up and in the apartment, it is all so worth the effort.

The apartment has beautiful views of the city and balconies on two sides to enjoy it from. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. A short walk down the hill their interesting streets, stairs, and alleys brought us to the heart of the city to enjoy all it had to offer. There is a public paid parking across the street that is very reasonable and couldn’t be closer to the apartment. Never had an issue with the lot filling up. All in all a great spot!

Robert´s place was absolutely magical. It was exactly what we were hoping for and more! Really well decorated, incredible views, modern appliances, spacious, comfy beds ad bonuses like a rain shower and private washer dryer. This place is operated by a 3rd party and they were super helpful with any questions I had similar to a hotel concierge. While it was indeed located up a hill, the taxi to/from downtown was only ~$6 or it was a ~15-20m walk depending on how far you were into town. That said, it´s super close to some areas you would want to visit anyways so we thought the location was great. The only thing I will caution is that the wifi is okay at best — it´s fine but not great. I would not recommend this place if you were looking to work remotely and need to Zoom/ have high speed Internet. That being said, I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to a friend!

Such a great place in a beautiful setting. The terrace, the courtyards, and such a great location in the heart of Granada. I wish we were still there.

A bright and open apartment of good size with awesome views. A third party will contact you to meet and let you in the building so you will need a phone with service. In a good location that is close enough to main attractions, and easy to navigate to by car with easy parking nearby. Fun to be right above the Mirador de San Cristobal viewpoint. The cleaners had been rushed on our check in day and it did show with some dirt, hair, and smudges on high touch surfaces left. Attention to detail was not there but it was clean enough. Some other minor things like no hand soap in either dispenser, broken garbage can in bathroom and the internet was spotty. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

A comfortable stylish apartment in a fantastic location with views of the Alhambra and the mountains. Being on top of a hill, being fairly fit is helpful if you´re walking! We were actually welcomed by a lovely lady from a local agency, and had no direct contact with Roberto, but that was fine; she was extremely helpful. We found the heating a bit quirky - it kept switching itself off! - but we managed ok, being from the North of England!

We had a great stay in Granada and loved the vibe of the accomodation with its great views. We enjoyed walking back and forth around the town. The apartment was close to Elvira St and other key landmarks.

As others have mentioned, this apartment is right next to Mirador San Cristóbal. It was wonderful to end each day at the Mirador and we felt slightly spoiled by the location. We didn´t use it but if you wanted to, there is a bus stop at the Mirador as well to get around. The space itself is probably one of the cleanest/most updated Airbnb´s I´ve been in. We used the washer/dryer while staying here and the host left several tide pods which we greatly appreciated. Only thing (which isn´t really in the host´s control) is that it seemed a couple of flies would always manage to get into the appartment somehow which was slightly annoying but we would just open the window they would inevitably be laying on, let them out, and then close it behind them. Again, I´m honestly digging for commentary here and would absolutely stay here again. At first we were debating whether we should book here or in Plaza Nueva but we´re glad we chose this one. Book this apartment, you won´t regret it.

This is a beautifully updated apartment. It is in a busy area w many clubs and restaurants nearby. You are renting from a company w several properties. When we experienced a problem, the local contact Pilar was quick to resolve it and booked us in another of their properties. We received excellent customer service and recommend renting from them.

The apartment itself is quite comfortable and clean. Keep in mind it is on the second floor ("first floor" in Europe and the rest of the world) and the stairwell is fairly dimly lit at night. Overall I really liked the apartment but I do not think staying in El Albaicin is for everyone. The community is very quiet and safe but it certainly felt much more remote than I had anticipated.

El apartamento es excelente, ubicado en el mirador san cristobal, vista increible de la alhambra y granada, muy limpio (todo parece nuevo), gran sala de estar con cocina integrada, amplio dormitorio y baño con ducha. Muy calmado. A 7/8 minutos a pie por las calles peatonales se encuentra la plaza larga en la parte superior del barrio del Albaycin con pequeños bares, panaderías, supermercados y varios restaurantes. Muy simpático. Recomendamos la casa Gabriel (carnes a la brasa) y el bar Aixa. Otros 2 minutos más se encuentra el mirador san Nicolás, algunos bares/restaurantes con una vista impresionante de la Alhambra. Por lo demás parking de pago con vigilancia a 3 minutos del apartamento (36€ por 3 días), muy práctico para aparcar el coche.

I am not normally a person who talks in these terms but this flat was absolutely amazing and perfect for visiting Granada. My partner and I did not want to leave! Firstly, the location is extraordinarily good. It is right beside a Plaza which has a viewing point (Mirador de San Cristobel) out over the city that tourists come up to all day. So you wake up and go to bed with this amazing view that everyone else gets to see once for a few minutes. We particularly had the window on the end of the lounge open most of the time we were in. Also, the flat is located in the Albaicin area of Granada which in of itself is one of the key tourist attractions of the City so all of that is right on your doorstep and you end up exploring it without even trying. Secondly, the flat itself has clearly been fitted out with a lot of thought. The rooms are pretty big by the standards I am used to in Airbnbs. They have also been set out very efficiently so it really feels spacious. They have also been presented in a very stylish and considered way. We always like to have a bit of downtime from the tourist trek and between the view, location and fit out, this flat is just a really nice space to spend time in. All the little useful bits you hope for are included (washing machine, hob, oven, hair dryer, drying frame). A previous review I think had some issues with the Wifi but we did not really notice anything when doing standard browsing tasks (internet, podcasts, video streaming). Thirdly, the check in lady was extremely helpful and accommodating. We were more annoying than I like to be because we went to the Alhambra before checking in which needed way more time than we had allowed for. The check in lady was extremely patient and flexible with excellent communication and local knowledge (she let us know there was a left luggage at the Alhambra that made our day much easier). She also was happy for us to stay an hour longer on check out day to suit our trains as there was not another booking coming in after. Everything we had read had said that 3 or 4 days in Granada was more than enough but we had such a good feeling sat up on the hill looking out that we would have liked to stay longer and we hope to come back.

We loved our stay in the Albacin neighborhood. The view could not be better and the apartment was modern, charming, and clean. The walk to town was a quick (but steep!) 15 minute wander. You need to check out this apartment if you visit!

The location is really hard to beat, right next to Mirador San Cristobal. Direct views of the Alhambra and the entire city of Granada. The only issue we encounter was the unreliable internet connection. While there is Wifi, the bandwidth is very poor and makes it impossible to work remotely. I don´t recommend it if you need to work remotely and join video calls. Even browsing or using Slack was at times difficult.

The place is great and perfectly situated within Granada, literally just a few minutes walk from Albaicin, an old neighborhood with a wonderful feel to it, with restaurants facing directly the mystical Alhambra, wonderful for a dinner out or visiting. The place is also situated just 10 minutes walking distance from Granada´s city center, which is also super to go visit during the day or a night out, with a whole array of restaurants to choose from. And of course not to forget that the apartment is situated literally on a famous viewpoint where you can see the whole city of Granada from above, wonderful views day and night, plus it is in a quiet area which is also really nice to get a good rest at night. Other than that the apartment is very well equipped, and nicely styled, and the person that will welcome you is very nice and helpful and available for questions or help. The place is welcoming and comfortable, we were satisfied with our experience, and will definitely book again when coming back to Granada.

Two of us spent 4 nights in this very comfortable apartment and would happily stay there again. There is plenty of space, and the views are fantastic. Elvira did a fabulous job checking us in and answering questions. There are some nice local bars, restaurants, and food shops just a short walk away.

This place is a great find! One of the things I enjoyed most was the location…about a 4 min walk in the Albazyin is a square with lovely locals and restaurants. We had coffees and beers there often…of course the tapas were lovely as well.

This location was lovely—gorgeous view of the Alhambra area from the top of a hill. The apartment was lovely and clean and there were great restaurants in easy walking distance. Would definitely come back!

Overall apartment was okay, there was poor/limited communication from the check in host until I directly reached out to figure out how to check in. The best part of the apartment is the view, but the TV did not work and the internet was weak, pans were broken and nespreso machine was not there despite being give coffee pods. Overall experience could be improved greatly.

This is possibly the nicest apartment in Granada. The view is absolutely spectacular. The apartment is exactly as photographed and has everything you need for a good stay. It is super clean, had toiletries (shampoo, soap, bathroom tissue) and modern appliances. We stayed a week and had a wonderful time. I’m a finicky sleeper and I slept so so well. Take note that this apartment is in the Albaycin area of Granada and is an uphill walk from most places. That wasn’t a problem for us as there was a bus stop (N9) right outside the apartment which takes you to most places. The next time we are in Granada we will surely stay here again!

Such a beautiful place! The Airbnb is near a popular viewpoint that attracts a lot of tourists. The place itself is very well equipped and the host was responsive. We enjoyed our stay here, would recommend!

The view was just incredible! The apartment was exactly as described. It’s right next to a popular lookout and a ~15 min walk downhill into the downtown area (so take the uphill climb back into account). The location in the Albaycin is wonderful.

The best view and area in Granada, and the most beautiful apartment, large and comfortable. The only two issues we found was that we were only given one roll of toilet roll for two people for 5 nights, and two small hotel shower gels. But there was a little mini Market very near where we got extra toiletries from.

It’s absolutely gorgeous place. It has the stunning view and clean and well equipped inside. I cannot wait to be back.

This place was absolutely amazing. When we booked we didn’t realize how close this was to the Mitador de San Cristobal. In fact, this was at the Mitador and the views of Alhambra and Sierra Nevada were absolutely spectacular. 10/10 stars for this amazing place. Roberto’s apartment was excellent. The views were stunning. The apartment is well designed, very quiet, light-filled, new and super-clean, centrally-heated, and very well equipped with dishwasher, washing/machine & dryer, cooking equipment, comfy couch & very comfortable bed, good lighting, good wifi, etc. Perfect for staying in, if you don’t feel like going out. The surrounding area was very interesting, easy to either walk down to town, or jump on one of the local buses which are plentiful. There are many local restaurants nearby. We ate several times at Case Gabriel, 5 mins walk away, which is a terrific local grill restaurant. There’s a supermarket, and a little shop (with sensational homemade empanadas) nearby, so it is very easy to buy local food and groceries. I’d certainly recommend this apartment to others, particularly those who are looking for a quieter but still very central location, with excellent facilities.

A beautiful apartment in a beautiful city. The apartment is modern, well-decorated, bright, spacious, and in a beautiful plaza in Granada with amazing views. You will definitely get your exercise in walking around the city, but you wouldn´t want to stay anywhere else in terms of ambience, views, and feeling a part of the real Granada.

What a lovely apartment in a magical part of town. Elvira was a great host, answered all questions, and provided solid recommendations. It is worth staying here for the views alone.

This property is excellent quality. Everything is brand new, stylishly decorated and the perfect layout for a couple. Like a luxury hotel suite. There is public parking a 2min walk which is very reasonably priced and you can leave your car overnight for as long as your stay. The position is perfect for exploring Granada. Wind down the cobbled streets directly outside and you’re in the Centro area in 20mins, or hang out in the nearby Albayzín area where there’s lots of cafe bars and traditional Andalusian cuisine. The views from the balconies are awesome, with views of the Alhambra and snowy backdrop of the Sierra Nevada. An excellent stay!

As shown in the pictures, the apartment is very beautiful, clean and new. The appliances are all new. There is a full view of the city as well as a bit of Alhambra. Very accurate description. We really enjoyed our stay. It is at the top of the hill but the neighborhood area is beautiful and well worth the stay.
