This apt was great. My wife and i were there for Semana Santa - the location was excellent, the apartment well appointed and the two terraces gave us wonderful views of the processions.

Good location if you like being right in the tick of things. Right out the front tour for the main toursit sites in Seville. Kitchen is extremely tiny. Apt in photos appears much more spacious than it is. The large door/windows add a very expansive feel to the apt. Very nice that the staff met us at the cab drop off so we didnt have towonder to figre out the exact location.

The property was perfect for our 3 night stay in Seville. It was very central and had a choice of 2 balconies to sit out on and admire the view and to take photographs from.Everything was as it said it was. Alfonsa arranged the taxi to and from the airport at the going rate. I would recommend you stay here and would love to return there again.

This is a wonderful apartment, the balcony and the views are excellent! It was within walking distance of all the sights, the view to the cathedral was lovely! We spent a lovely weekend here, Alfonso was charming and answered all our questions and he met us at the apartment and gave us information regarding the sights to see and good restaurants, he arranged for pick up to and from the airport! We would definately return to beautiful Seville and would have no hesitation in staying at the apartment again!

The apartment could not be in a better location. Central to all the beautiful landmarks in Seville, which is so easy to navigate on foot or bike. We loved the 2 terraces with amazing views. The apartments was spacious enough for 4 adults, with everything you need for a short break. Fantastic place to stay!

Gorgeous flat close to everything that seville has to offer. Kitchen is small and no basics left except a few pods for coffee and tea bags. Roof terrace is huge and has two tables and chairs. A couple of sun loungers up there would have been perfect. Air con worked well. Alfonso was fabulous and communicated really well. Overall a fabulous flat in a fabulous city.

Our accomodation in Seville was outstanding. We had a large one bedroom with a large balcony overlooking a main square, five minutes walk from the Cathedal. It was a great place to come back to after a day of walking old Seville, allowing us to recharge in comfort with cheese and a glass of wine on the balcony before going out for the evening. The only thing topping this was the service from Alphonso, the person who greeted us when we arrived. Not only did he fully inform us about the apartment amenities and restaurants to eat, he helped rescue our cell phone from our departed taxi, which we never could have done on our own. We highly recommend this apartment.

Location, house itself, balcony, roofterrace, all is great and beautiful. After a day strolling throughout all the great things to see in the city, it is great to come home and have a glass of wine on the roof terrace. The views are magnificent! I advice everyone to book right now, because it is the best! Hope to come back soon!

Très bel appartement au dernier étage avec une vue splendide, idéalement situé pour tout visiter à pied. Bon accueil et disponibilité d´Alfonso avant et pendant l´arrivée, mais aussi pendant le séjour. Deux bémols : la cuisine est exigüe et l´isolation sonore avec l´appartement voisin du 2nd de mauvaise qualité.

The apartment was everything it promised to be. Balcony and roof terrace had super views of Seville centre, Cathedral and Archivos del Indias. Everything worked, particularly the Aircon/heating system and the elevator. Very convenient location and Alfonso looked after us very well. Take his advice if parking in Seville!

The Alcázar Penthouse is truly spectacular. It is immaculate, full of light, very comfortable, private, safe, unique, and in the absolute best location in Sevilla. It was a true pleasure to come home after spending many hours exploring the city to enjoy both private terraces with incredible views over the Archivo de Indias and the Cathedral´s Giralda. Every morning, I woke to the sounds of the cathedral’s bells.

Alfonso, and Ignacio were very welcoming, extremely helpful, and immediately made me feel at home. I will always cherish the time that I spent in Sevilla and at the Penthouse Alacázar. Muchas gracias Alfonso, e Ignacio!

The Alcazar apartment is amazing. It is beautiful, with gorgeous views from a most charming terrace. It could not be in a better location with everything you would want to do in Seville within reach. It is very well cared for, private, super comfortable, good beds, spotless with every amenity included. The access to it is very secure and we felt very safe. Icing on the cake was the property manager Alfonso and his hands on care. He greeted us upon arrival (in the pouring rain I must add), gave us every pertinent information and was available to attend to our every need without delay for the whole time we were there. He could not have been more helpful and it felt so comfortable to know we had someone we could count on during our 4 day stay. Thank You Alfonso for making a great stay even better.

We had a wonderfull stay last week in this appartment, everything was very convenient, the washmachine was a big plus. The terrace on the roof missed only a sunumbrella. The balcony was spacious and very nice to use. While we are drinking a glass of wine listening to the bluessinger everyday at the street. We would stay here again if we are visiting Sevilla!
PS The lady who picked us up from the airport and also for the pickup to the airport was a pleasant surprise! Very guestfriendly!

The location of the apt. is great. I wish it had 2 bathrooms. The experience was very good overall. Some dishes were chipped and it needs more wine glasses.

What a view! We really enjoyed everything about this apartment. It was so close to all major sites.

Georgette from the Genteel Home pick up service was waiting for us at the airport. Within 20 minutes, we were there and so was Alfonso to explain in details, the apartment´s features plus suggestions for restaurants and things to see and do while we were here. He also offered to reserve tickets for us if needed.

The apartment was exactly like shown in pictures. The kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances and the AC works well. There is a nice flat screen TV and for some stations, you can get an English version. The internet is very fast. There is an elevator. The water is good to drink.


The location is tops! We don´t think it can get any better. Less than 150 meters to the Alcazar,
500 meters from the Cathedral, 500 meters to the Santa Cruz restaurant area. We walked everywhere.

We will definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family and might come back ourselves.

We stayed in the Alcazar Penthouse for three nights (July 25-28). We are a family of four (two boys 12 and 8). The apartment was very clean, modern and fully furnished. The beautiful terrace in addition to the roof top were much appreciated to enjoy the warm evenings watching the cathedral. The location is perfect, only a few minutes away from the best attraction. Alphonso was very courteous and helpful and responded to all our questions on a timely fashion. I would highly recommend this apartment.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It was exactly as shown on the website. There were 2 of us staying. It is a perfect location and right next to the palace and cathedral. Alfonso was very helpful and informative. We took up most of his recommendations for visits and he arranged a guided horse carriage ride with Andreas who was excellent. The flamenco museum is also worth a visit. We opted for the intimate show and it was fabulous. When we return to Sevilla we will definitely stay here again.

This apartment is in the perfect location for enjoying Seville. It is lovely, just as shown in the pictures, and comfortable. We didn´t cook any meals because so many charming cafes are within easy walking distance. Alfonso met us and was very helpful in terms of showing us everything in the apartment and making suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants. The two terraces are added bonuses. We hated to leave and highly recommend Penthouse Alcazar to anyone visiting Seville.

I echo the previous reviewers’ comments – lovely apartment, great location. Everything done to a high standard, and perfect for two adults and a child.

Huge rooftop terrace, but really loved the terrace off the lounge, which had great views and was perfect for morning pastries and coffee, and kicking back with a bottle of wine in the evening.

The stairs going from the lounge down to the door to the main hallway (if you’re walking and not using the lift) might be a bit tricky with a small child, but having said that, they would probably provide a baby gate if needed. There was a guard for the bed, which kept our three year old from falling out. Beds were so comfy!

We had a cleaning in the middle of our week long stay, and came back to a spotless apartment.

Alfonso was very helpful, recommending restaurants and things to do, and Seville is a beautiful city. This apartment is a stone’s throw from the Alcazar – amazing wandering around the grounds in Feb, smelling the oranges and lemons.

Would definitely recommend, and return to this lovely place.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. Everything went very smoothly. We appreciated being met at the airport Mariano (he waited for our delayed flight) and being driven directly to the apartment, where we were met by Alfonso. He was very helpful and gave us useful information and details.
We were 3 adults and the apartment was ideal for us (would have been a bit tight for 4 adults). The views are amazing and very easy to walk everywhere.
As our flight home was in the evening and no one else was arriving that day, we appreciated being able to stay in the apartment until Mariano drove us to the airport.
Great service throughout. We would definitely recommend this city centre apartment.

This is a wonderful apartment in a perfect location for seeing all of Sevilla. It was as represented on the website. Alfonso was extremely helpful throughout our stay. He met us at the apartment, gave us recommendations for places to see, and places to eat -- and even printed our tickets for an event we booked online! Fabulous location and view! Alfonso met us at the apartment and was available by phone throughout our stay. The apartment was just as described with plenty of room for three adults. We loved Sevilla and wished we could have stayed longer. No complaints! Highly recommend!

He gave us some awesome restaurant suggestions and was our unofficial Seville Tour Guide. We absolutely love Alphonso to pieces and our stay in Seville would not have been such fond memories without him. We thank him from the bottom of our heart. We stayed at this fabulous apartment in Sept. The location is just perfect.if we are not wrong, then this place shares a wall with Alcazar palace. We are glad that we chose this apartment because it came with Alphonso, who was the apartment manager. We reached late night rather early morning and our baggage was misplaced but he helped in getting those bags. He called the people at Airport and made sure that the bags are delivered at his place so that we didn´t have to wait for two day doing nothing. He speaks good English, gave us good tapas recommendations and we hanged out together a lot. We are very grateful for his help...without which our trip would not have such see memories. We thank you Alphonso!

We´ve stayed at quite a few apartments/houses when we traveled in Europe, and this apartment is by far the best in terms of location, cleaness, decoration, and value. Having breakfast and/or dinner with Srchivo Indias directly in front of you and the cathedral as a backdrop was just unreal! And the royal palace is right outside of the apartment buildings.
These nice features are only topped by the great host, Alfonso! Our older daughter was having a fever and Alfonso offered to take us to the local hospital without any hesitation. He made sure everything was taken care of. Thanks to Alfonso, my daughter and the family were able to enjoy Seville and the rest of our trip in full. Can´t thank him enough.
If there is a place you want to stay in Seville, this apartment is it! No need to look for anything else.

I did my research in advance and it paid off - an absolutely terrific apartment. Huge terraces; one on the roof another immediately off of the lounge - both georgeous views and plenty of space. First class fixtures and fittings throughout (including very well equipped kitchen), super-fast wifi and of course a truly unbeatable location. I simy can´t fault it. It does deserve 10 out of 10 - Alfonso is a star too!

Amazing location just a stone´s throw from the cathedral and alcazar. Loved the sounds from the terrace of horses and carts, singers on the street below, birds and the bells. Apartment was modern, clean and well equipped and the roof terrace very special. Would definitely return.

There were two of us and therefore we had a spare bedroom to put our luggage in. It was a wonderful place to stay! It was clean and had everything we needed. The large balcony and rooftop were wonderful places to sit and enjoy the city. Perfect location, easy to get around, we could walk everywhere. Convenient to a grocery store as well. People we rented from were very friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Alcazar Penthouse. Its location is exceptional, near the Cathedral and the Real Alcazar, in the pedestrian area of old Seville (but such that taxis can leave you or pick you up close by, if you need one). The apartment was clean, well equipped, quiet (if desired, shutting the windows efficiently kept any street noises out), tastefully furnished and had great views of Seville, through two separate private terrasses, one off the living room and the other on top of the apartment (great for a romantic after-dinner pause to watch the stars).
There are wonderful tapas restaurants to try out in the area and we tried many.
Taxis in Seville are cheap (not like in Madrid) which makes it easy to go anywhere, for example to stock up on groceries at the local Corte Ingles (although there are smaller grocery stores nearby one can walk to) or to visit other parts of the city. But we mostly stayed in the district of Santa Cruz which we visited by foot. Great cafes, tapas bars and don´t miss some wonderful flamenco shows as well (try the small intimate places: Museo del Baile Flamenco, Casa de la Memoria, Los Gallos, rather than the big ones).
Ignacio from Genteel Homes was very helpful in answering any questions ahead of time , and Maria was a very pleasant host.
Seville is beautiful city, and the Penthouse Alcazar a wonderful base to get to enjoy it. We would recommend it to anyone wishing to visit.

Book it! You won´t regret it. This was our favorite accommodation in Spain. The terraces are stunning and are the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine at sunset. We were a group of 3 adults and an infant, and this apartment was the perfect size (they even provided a crib). Perfect location to walk everywhere. The service from Genteel Home was excellent and they were happy to answer the many questions we had. We will be back and would happily recommend the Alcazar Penthouse to our family and friends!

We just stayed there for a few days with a family of six ad absolutely loved the place. It was clean, the location was excellent and the views were spectacular! I would def stay there again and recommend it to others.

Un appartement idéalement situé quant on est a pied, tout et a proximité immédiate, la cuisine et petite mais fonctionnelle, la literie confortable (sauf oreiller mous), la salle de bain parfaite et la pièce principale claire avec accès a une terrasse généreuse et a la vue magnifique de jour comme de nuit. Et cerise sur le gâteau un accueil parfait grâce a la gentillesse de la très jolie Maria. Merci pour ce magnifique lieu de séjour. A réserver sans hésiter. Seul info qui dois être un erreur d’écriture de l´annonce, l´appartement ne fait pas 140 mais plutôt 70 m2 mais c´est un detail.

L´appartement est idealement situé, la vue est magnifique et la terrasse du haut est divine.
Il est tres calme et confortable.
Par contre la surface de l´appartement ne correspond pas a celle annoncée sur votre site, vous dites 140m2 alors qu´il ne doit faire que 70m2.

The penthouse apartment was beautiful and in a perfect location for experiencing the incredible sights, excellent restaurants, interesting neighborhoods and historic monuments in Seville. The views from the terraces are amazing and a perfect way to enjoy the sights of Seville in the morning, early evening and at night. The penthouse was very comfortable and well equipped for preparing our own meals. We only wished we had more time to spend at the Alcazar Penthouse!

My family stayed here for 3 nights. This is a lovely apartment and we would definitely stay here again. The apartment is bright, clean and modern with a wonderful balcony. The location is great - close to all of the sites and restaurants/shopping. The whole rental process went smoothly. When we arrived, we were explained how everything worked in the apartment and given helpful advise on how to get around town. We could not have been happier and would highly recommend it!!!

My husband and I stayed in this penthouse for 6 nights in November 2014. The check-in process was efficient. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and the kitchen, although very compact, had all the basics. We especially enjoyed the upper terrace which is accessible via an outside staircase. The apartment is centrally located with many restaurants and amenities nearby. We had a wonderful stay! We´ve just returned from a fabulous 10 day stay at the Penthouse Alcazar. Location is fantastic, literally 2 minutes from the Cathedral and the Real Alcazar. Seville is a wonderful city and this is the perfect place to stay to enjoy all the facilities that Seville offers. We´ll be back!

Just wonderful. We had high expectation because of the pictures and it was by far fulfilled. The two terraces were as large and comfortable as they seemed and everything was very clean. As we were very well placed, two steps from the Cathedral, we didn´t need to take any transport and even could come back to the apartment to have a little rest during our visits. Highly recommended, it is absolutely a great choice.

We spent Semana Santa here, and not only is it a lovely flat in a perfect location, but we had processions passing under our balcony all week. It couldn´t have been more perfect, comfortable, charming, and with amazing terraces (yes, TWO of them!). I lived in Seville for several years, and this place quickly felt like home.
