Magnífica casa recién reformada y amueblada en la zona del Albaicín en plena Cuesta de Alhacaba. Se trata de un Carmen, una casa típica granadina con piscina privada.
La casa se encuentra distribuida en una sola planta y cuenta con salón, cocina, cuatro habitaciones y tres baños, dos de ellos en suite. Dos de los dormitorios tiene cama de matrimonio y los otros dos tienen dos camas individuales. Además cuenta con un amplio jardín privado de estilo nazarí donde disfrutar del sol y relajarse. La casa cuenta también con una piscina privada abierta todo el año.

Beautifully decorated, clean apartment. A surprising oasis when you consider the place from outside you don’t expect it to have such a lovely garden. Fantastic location, great views.
Be aware there is NO private parking. You have to pay to park in a public car park and walk to the accommodation. Booking says there is parking.

This property is a gem! We wish we could have stayed longer. We really enjoyed coming back from a long day of touring to this garden paradise. We were very lucky to have stayed at a Carmen, which we realized was really a special thing in Granada. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms for a family of 5. The pool area was great. After days of travel, we also appreciated the use of a laundry machine and drying rack (which we set up in the garden). Such a nice, quiet, retreat. Highly recommend.
It would have been nice to have several loungers & towels for the pool/outdoor area.

The location was wonderfully tucked into a quiet residential street and yet had immediate access to downtown or the Albaicin. Stepping through the gate and seeing just how vast the gardens are was a highlight of the property, and we spent every evening watching the sunset from the patio chairs. It was all very comfortable and with multiple seating areas, gave us nice variety. The interior spaces were also very lovely, very clean, and functioned well. The decor was artistic with comfortable elegance.
As a previous guest expressed, we also felt the kitchen was underequipped. Example: only 1 tall beer glass, a few more bowls would have been helpful. We made these requests to the management company but they did not offer to supply the few things we inquired about. It also took over a day to hear back. So we echo the suggestion to take a good look at the kitchen and supplement some of the things lacking. Considering this is a 4 bedroom house, there ought to be at least a set of 8 for everything.

We loved everything about our stay in the house! The garden is just wonderful and a real oasis, with enough shade and a little swimming pool. Everywhere there was a scent of azahar and flowers. The house has a very convenient distribution with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms that worked perfectly for our extended family. The location of the house is also perfect, at the foot of the magical Albaicin neighborhood and just 10-15 min walk from the city center. And last but not least, Elvira was extremely helpful and a real gem during the check-in, muchas gracias!!!

The garden was the highlight of our trip! In mid-April, it smelled heavenly. Everything was blooming. The house itself is gorgeous, and plenty of rooms for our kids to each have their own - the only time they had this!
A minor point is that the kitchen is minimally set up for cooking. With such a lovely home we preferred to stay in to eat but we were just barely able to find what we needed to make a simple meal. EG - the largest pot was too small to boil pasta, and we couldn´t find a corkscrew. This would be easy to address with just a few more pieces! Given the really solid, nice furnishings throughout the house, the bare bones ikea kitchen was surprising. Another small, easy to fix issue is that in the en suite bathroom, there were minimal surfaces or hooks to leave anything. A shelf for toiletries would be a significant convenience for travelers!

The location was fantastic and the views from the villa were superb! It is a stunning place!
The closest car park is a 10 min walk away and there is no place to pull in for a short stop to unload bags. You need to be ready! That said, our hosts gave us good directions to the Parking place and once you´re organised, it is very straightforward.

Lo único malo que encontramos fue la iluminación de la terraza que era nula, y por la noche es cuando mejor se está para cenar y disfrutarla con los amigos.
Y por otro lado el baño del cuarto de matrimonio desprendía un olor muy desagradable teniendo que dejarlo con la puerta cerrada porque era insoportable.

Raquel, muchas gracias por su mensaje, la casa acababa de inaugurarse y faltaba la instalación de luminaria del jardín. Ya se ha terminado dejando ahora un sitio verdaderamente placentero para disfrutar de las noches granadinas en un nuestro precioso Carmen. Por otra parte, lamentamos muchísimo el inconveniente con el olor del baño. Efectivamente, había un problema en la instalación que resolvimos en cuanto nos percatamos del mismo, quedando ya resuelto y por tanto ya no hay ningún tipo de olores en la casa. Esperamos que disfrutara de su estancia y nos encantaría poder volver a alojarlos pronto en este magnífico rincón de Granada.
