Seville first; Seville is one of the most beautiful and cultured cities I´ve visited around the world and I was amazed that I didn´t know of it. Orange trees and architecture just ooze out of this place and with the river, even in February, beautifully encapsulating it as a major cultural city. This would genuinely be on the place I would want to live.
Except for one thing - Parking with a large vehicle with a top box and trailer. There is no car in Seville that doesn´t have a scrape, dent or bend and by the time our visit was done - neither did ours. The underground parking entries and driving practices are different to the UK. I even seen on two occasions cars ´pushing´ into car spaces outside of underground parking bays!
The Apartment; Situated near the river, the location of this place really is ideal with a short walk into the city centre (even with a wheel chair bound mum). It is a bit tight entering the security close and elevators but it´s doable and for a city centre flat you can´t expect everything.
The apartment has a wonderful terrace that you can sit at night or the morning having breakfast looking over the city and indeed almost seems oversized such is the size of it. It has air conditioners (including heaters for February) and warms up fairly quickly. Internet was a must for me (for work) and we weren´t disappointed.
The apartment is on two levels with a spare bedroom in the kitchen but not really one you can use (at least not for us). Rooms were quite large on the second floor and accommodated our two mothers, two kids and my wife and I with ease. We could have done with a ´English Kettle´ and bought our own from a local Chinese convenience store (which subsequently broke within two weeks). Other than that it has all the mods required for your stay.
This is a place ideal for people who want to walk around the city of Seville and live in some comfort. I would definitely recommend it to anyone of my friends who were coming to Seville.
