We had an amazing stay at this apartment. It was very cosy. Lots of nice touches. Located in an amazing area with lots of nice restaurants nearby. Easily walkable to all the main sites. The host was very friendly, super responsive and really helpful answering all my questions about the facilities they have for babies at the apartment (we took our 7 month old). She also gave lots of great recommendations. The only downside was that the beds were very firm. Would highly recommend this stay.

A great apartment that is so close to Ponte Vecchio, but equally close to the heart of Santo Spirito, which we love as it is less busy/touristy but filled with fantastic cafes, restaurants and local class.

The apartment was lovely and spacious and the beds were comfortable, and looked just as the pictures showed. Sara the host met us at the property and gave us some good tips for Florence. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need, oil, salt, pepper, sugar, balsamic vinegar and some other sauces. The heaters were warm. The bathrooms were clean and there was good shower pressure. Our kids loved the loft bedroom.
A toaster would have been handy, however there is an oven so we made do with the grill at the top of the oven.

Great location! Within walking distance to everything but also felt very quaint. Perfect for a family holiday. The apartment was clean and we had everything we needed. Our host Sara was fantastic. She was there to welcome us as soon as we arrived and communications were excellent. She also gave us her local recommendations which were much appreciated. Would stay here again.

Wir hatten wundervolle Herbsttage in der Toskana. Die Wohnung ist super, die Gegend ist super, alles ist ganz einfach zu erreichen… Und trotz der vielen Touristen ist es ruhig, ohne dass man auf Komfort verzichten muss. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und sehr verbindlich. Bei jedem weiteren Besuch in Florenz würden wir dort wieder wohnen wollen. Vielen Dank für diese Erfahrung.

We really loved this place. The location is excellent - across the Arno from the busier part of Florence, but an easy walk to all the main spots. There were many great restaurants close by, as well as shops and a great supermarket - helpful since we had a kitchen and fridge. Sara greeted us when we arrived, let us in, and chatted with us about the city in general. She gave us great advice on how to get to the airport (tram). This helped us tremendously and turned out to be as easy as she said it would be. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and attentive host. Location is great, restaurants literally as soon as you open the door. 5 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio. Plenty of hot water, very clean. I highly recommend this place. I´ll definitely look for this apartment when I´m back in Florence.

So responsive and immaculate clean ! Incredible water pressure in both bathrooms ! They even provided cleaning service for my extended stay . Directly across from my favorite pitti palace ! Can’t recommend enough !

Great location: close to Ponte Vecchio but not as busy as on the north bank. Because the flat is facing northwest, away from the main road, it’s very quiet day and night. Another good feature of the place is it’s firm mattresses

Since we arrived they we’re waiting for us, helped us to find the building then explained everything to us.sent us suggestions for restaurants and places to visit, they were super helpful and nice.the apartment is beautiful and cozy, feels like home, very clean and prepared with everything.the only thing that made me rate it 9/10 is that the bed in the master room was not comfortable and the smell in the master bathroom coming from outside (which is not their fault) but over all it was amazing

It was great location, spacious, clean, convenient. kitchen had new appliances and washer too. The agent/ host was super helpful and kept giving us tips about places to go, eat, etc…

beautiful apartment with everything you need. perfect location on the quieter side of the bridge and restaurants/cafes right outside your door. Great recommendations for places to eat.

The apartment was comfortable except that there was a mosquito infestation. The manager did warn us not to open windows which we did not but my daughter was bitten by mosquitoes the first few nights. The manager did spray which seemed to help but it should hz e been done prior to our arrival.

The apt was very roomy and comfortable. It has two large bathrooms and a nice master bedroom. The AC units were excellent. The inside was well decorated, very clean and Inviting. It was better then the pictures. The bathrooms had a large shower with plenty of hot water to wash off the grime at the at the end of a long day. The apt was something to look foward too everyday when everything was done. It is located next to the Pitti palace just down the street from the Punto Vecchio bridge. So the location was ideal. Food is everywhere with some really good choices very close by. This apt is where I will stay in the future. The host were very aware of our needs. They helped us the entire way from arrival to departure. I cannot say enough about the happiness we felt staying with them.

Central and comfortable and a happy place
An amazing location in the heart of Florence but far enough from the touristic buzz. We loved the apartment so much and were lucky enough to meet the hosts. Our hosts gave us some wonderful recommendations to eat and sight see and we enjoyed them all. We felt right at home in the apartment. It was clean and tidy and had two fabulous bathrooms. We appreciated having both a washing machine and dishwasher. The apartment will be part of our happy memories - thank you!

Do t consider staying anywhere else!! This place is walkable to all the major attractions in Florence. It is immaculately clean and the hosts go far beyond the norm to help The showers were huge and came with fantastic water pressure (not always a given in Europe). The flat was so nice and quiet. No public or traffic noise was ever noticed Right across Pitti plaza and Boboli Gardens. Ponte Vecchio is only a 5 minute walk away. This place quickly became our favorite apartment of all our trips to Europe

Sehr gute Lage - direkt vor dem Piazza Pitti - von dort aus alles im Zentrum fußläufig ideal erreichbar. Das Apartment befindet sich im 4. Stock einen Altbaus mit Aufzug und ist sehr stilvoll renoviert. Die Schlüsselübergabe hat reibungslos funktioniert und die Gastgeber stehen mit Rat und Tat zu Seite.

Hosts were extremely friendly, responsive and helpful. Provided recommendations and video instructions as needed. Quieter area than other parts of town but very close to everything so great location!

En una zona con algunos puntos de interes y muchos lugares para comer. el anfitrión es super amable, se mostró super receptivo a todos nuestros mensajes y nos dio indicaciones de lugares muy buenos a donde ir el lugar es enorme y esta muy bien equipado el baño de la habitacion en suite tiene doble ducha edificio super silencioso, gran lugar para descansar kit de bienvenida con shampoo/acondicionador/jabon con olores muy muy ricos
salia un poco de olor de la ducha despues de varias horas sin usarse, si bien no afecto a nuestra estadia le avisamos al anfitrion por si pasaba en futuras ocasiones!

The apartment is very well located, easy to get to all that Florence has to offer. Bus stops nearby and gorgeous streets to wander and eat in downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds comfy. It is a lovely little apartment nice size and very comfy.
The host was impatient and unhelpful. When we couldn’t find the apartment (note is is 22 but it looks like 99 on the number even our local taxi was confused) she was grumpy and rude, marching down and telling me off in the street. She works on assumed knowledge of Florence (like where to take out the rubbish) and was unhelpful when asked a few questions (we soon gave up). Note there was one roll of toilet paper for a five day stay and no other toiletries so don’t forget to BYO

It felt like home! Clean, cozy, comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms. I was traveling with my parents and they were a bit older, and they had a great time too. Excellent staff, attentive and punctual! Would definitely recommend!

A great comfortable appartment in the best location, one could ask for! Loved it.
Loved the location! It was right in Piazza Pitti and literally 200 m walk from Il Ponte Vecchio. I would go running every morning along the river to breathtaking views. Unforgettable! The appartment was cozy, nicely decorated. It is not a "view from the window" kinda appartment, because you mostly see rooftops from the windows, but honestly who needs a view, when you are located in the middle of one of the most famous views in the world! All the ammenities were there. The bathrooms were renovated and modern. I was there with my husband and my two daughters (age 10 and 13) and the whole appartment was spacious enough for all of us. We didn´t get to use all ammenities and appliances because we mostly ate out, but I could see that the appartment can be also great for longers stays. The guests, Chiara and Rosalba were really nice and their response to a small issue with the heater was extremely quick. As I said the location is amazing. You have plenty of restaurants around, just 300 m away there´s a supermarket (Conad) and right before crossing the road to enter Ponte Vecchio, stop in the morning (it opens at 8:20) for the best croissants at Ginos Bakery.
I had a small issue with the heater in the first day, but the guests solved it pretty quick and other than that, I did not have any other problem. It was all great.

Great location! Truly in the heart of the city! Very comfortable beds. Great bathroom with spacious shower. There are 2 in the apartment! which is very comfortable! Minus - the noise from the air conditioner! All in all, I highly recommend this apartment!

Very lovely and luxurious apartment exactly as described in the listing. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The lift to the fourth floor was greatly appreciated - especially with luggage! The apartment itself is in a great location - Ponte Vecchio bridge is less than 5 minutes away and central Florence is another 10 minutes on foot. There are a number of great restaurants and bars very close to the apartment and we were spoilt for choice. There are also some lovely artisanal shops very close to the apartment. Despite being next to a busy tourist area, the apartment itself is quiet and peaceful. We thoroughly loved our stay in the apartment and would happily stay again and recommend to others.

Nice apartment, well decorated and o the perfect location... close to all but not crowded. All is like on the pictures.

Rosalba made check in super easy and explained all of the amenities to us. The apartment is lovely, centrally located and super clean. We especially appreciatedthe size of the beautiful bathrooms with amazing water pressure. The additional bonus of having the cleaning team come in midway through our trip to clean up and refresh our towels was greatly appreciated. I highly reccommend Genteel Home as it was a wonderful experience and lovely apartment that was a great home away from home.

A stylish and comfortable stay right in front of Palazzo Pitti. The check-in was smooth and we loved the apartment, there was just confusion about pricing between the company vs. price listed on airbnb.

What a great apartment in a great area, beautifully decorated. With nearly a week at the property it had everything we needed plus having a lift up to the apartment was extremely helpful. Chiara was extremely helpful with everything we needed.
