Spacious, comfortable home next to Accademia
Stunning, spacious and such a comfortable apartment. I was on a work trip with my colleague and it made such a difference to each have our own bathroom, and the bedrooms are big! The beds were super comfortable, and had plenty of pillows and some variety of pillow types--a valuable touch if you have any back/neck issues or trouble sleeping comfortably. The flat was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need need...laundry, cooking, a big comfy living room. Perfect for a longer stay. It was really quiet, the location is central (few minutes walk from duomo) but just far enough for the surrounding streets to be peaceful and calm. One of the bedrooms is facing an inner courtyard, so it is extra quiet. I also found the location very convenient because it is close to many well connected bus and tram stops (5min walk from the tram that goes directly to the airport). It is on a third floor with no lift, personally didn't find this tedious but important to know for anyone with mobility difficulties. Our host kindly helped with carrying our luggage up when we met him for check-in. They were also super communicative before and throughout my stay, and accommodating with letting me keep my luggage there before check-in time!
Everything was wonderful! If I had to be nitpicky, I couldn't find many plugs in the bedroom or kitchen for all the appliances, but that is a super easy fix with a couple of multiplugs/powerstrips. It was still fine, and could absolutely make do, but this would add some ease. Everything else was perfection!
